Ecostrong - Production Process

A portion of the flooring is finished in the factory. Factory-finished flooring ensures
a smooth hard coat and is easy to install. Prefinished flooring can be refinished
when needed.

Flooring that remains unfinished can be site-finished with a urethane-based finish
for durability or finished with a wax or oil based treatment for a more natural feel.
Unfinished flooring can also be stained a wide range of colors.

ecostrong difference

Finished ecostrong flooring has a highly durable
30% matte finish. This is is one of the hardest,
most scratch resistant finishavailable. The
ecostrong finish is protected by warranty.

ecostrong uses a 6 layer UV cured aluminum oxide/urethane finish.

Layer 1: waterbased coating forms bond between flooring and later coats.

Layer 2: Aluminum oxide layer is very hard and nearly impossible to wear through.

Layers 3 and 4: These layers are hard coating to resist dents and deep scratches. These layers are sanded to smooth the finish.

Layers 5 and 6: These layers are scratch resistent layers. These layers are flexible to avoid shattering. They hide scratches by not flaking and chipping. These layers can be sanded and refinished.
